Modality and intermittent search strategy in combination with an Improve Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm (IPSO) to detect damage structure via using vibration analysis basic principle of a decline stiffness matrix is presented the study as new technique. Unlike optimization problem simplistic application, leads promising results. Interestingly, PSO solves optimal around location determined previously. In contrast, Eagle Strategy (ES) charging locating position space for locally. ES easy deal its drastic support Levy flight. As known, has fast speed, yet accuracy not good expected many problems. Meanwhile, powerful solve two problems: 1) avoiding local optimization, 2) obtaining more accurate The paper compares results obtained from IPSO some problems between experiment FEM demonstrate effectiveness.
